Dumpster pad cleaning can lift grease, food waste, and surface odor from the concrete. It cannot fix drainage, pest, or waste-handling problems underneath the pad, so be honest about what a wash will and will not solve.
What a wash fixes
A degreaser and controlled pressure washing lift the grease and food waste baked onto the pad and remove the surface film that feeds odor. The pad reads cleaner and the smell drops.
What it does not fix
A wash will not repair a broken drain, a cracked pad that traps liquid, a pest problem, or a waste-handling process that overflows the pad. If the grease returns the next week, the issue is operations, not cleaning.
Contain the runoff
Grease and degreaser runoff must be contained and cannot simply be flushed into a storm drain. We plan the wash to handle the water responsibly.
Five-minute self-check
- Is the odor constant, or worse after pickup? Constant may be a drainage issue.
- Is the grease on the surface or soaked into cracks?
- Does the pad drain, or does liquid pool?
- Are pests present beyond normal? That is a waste issue.
- Note any health-code or lease requirements and verify their wording.
